GTK Scrollbar Click Behaviour
Note to self: To change the behaviour of scrollbars when clicking on them - jump to position vs. page-down behaviour - in older GTK2 programs (like GIMP), just go to
and edit the line
(0 = old behaviour, 1 = jump to position, where "Adwaita" is obviously the current theme you are using for these apps). For newer GTK3 programs, do the same in
There is probably a "right" way to do this - via a GUI or else by entering the right command in a shell - , but I still have no Gnome installed and I am too lazy to find out which command I need to install.

gtk-primary-button-warps-slider = 0
